TRCC\u2019s vision is to offer courses \u2018for teachers, by teachers\u2019 so we are always interested in hearing your suggestions and ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COURSE DIRECTORS AND TRCC<\/strong><\/p>\n
Course Directors form a Planning Committee of up to 4 members (including the Course Director), co-ordinate the Committee\u2019s activities, select and invite the course presenters, and liaise with the TRCC staff throughout the course planning and delivery stages.<\/p>\n
Course Directors and their Planning Committees are responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n
TRCC covers all planning costs associated with organising courses, including honoraria for Planning Committees, travel, accommodation and meals for Planning Committees, and funding up to 2 Teacher Relief Days (TRDs) per Planning Committee member (up to a maximum of 8) for pre-course planning meetings. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
The approximate planning budgets to manage and work within are $7,000 (one- day courses), $14,000 (two- day courses) and $20,000 (three-day courses). <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
TRCC provides ongoing administrative support and guidance to Course Directors and their Planning Committee throughout the planning process as required.<\/p>\n
TRCC staff are responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n
PROPOSE A CURRICULUM OR LEADERSHIP COURSE<\/strong><\/p>\n
TRCC courses run during the April, July and October school holidays.<\/p>\n
