What do I need to think about when planning a teaching and learning programme based on new and emerging health or wellbeing issues? What do I need to consider when including aspects of mātauranga Māori and other cultural knowledge alongside academic health education knowledge? As education policies and systems change, what do I need to know about health education that will enable me to problem solve in new situations?
If you are a primary or secondary school teacher and these questions interest you, this 2-day TRCC workshop is for you. Using the most recent NZ strategy statements, policy, resources and research available, participants will engage in a succession of discussions with teaching colleagues and other experts to respond to questions like these.
Registration includes catering during course time only.
