This course is for Geography Secondary Teachers - join us to experience a fresh perspective of the natural environment with the help of local Iwi, Tertiary, research institutions and passionate teachers. This 3-day course will be running concurrently, at Tongariro National Park and Mt Cook National Park. TRCC to provide assistance for teachers to attend the Geography course at both venues - the assistance will be in the form of reimbursement in full the course fee paid for each teacher attending.

Change is coming. We want the Geography community to feel supported, connected and inspired. Field-trips should not just be for our students, it is time teachers had the chance to explore the landscapes and not just the achievement standard.

PLEASE NOTE: the TRCC reimbursement & the PPTA Member Funding are two completing separate subsidies. You will need to contact PPTA in regard to their Member Funding and what is covered by them.
When you register on the TRCC website you will receive an Invoice Order - you are required to pay the course fee within the date frame on the invoice.
TRCC will reimburse your course fee paid after you have attended the Geography course, claim forms will be available at the course.
