New Zealand Association of Mathematics Teachers presents the 17th biennial conference for teachers of Mathematics and Statistics being hosted in New Plymouth in 2021. This conference is suitable for secondary and primary teachers. This three-day event consists of a variety of local and international keynote speakers alongside workshops aiming to help teachers and hence their students. Keynote Speakers Include: Professor Chris Wild (NZ), Dr Raj Shar (USA), Kyle Pearce & John Orr (Canada).

The conference theme is 'Reach your peak - Whāia te maunga teitei'
The purpose of this conference is to provide professional learning and to develop teachers' expertise and leadership capacity. The conference gives teachers the opportunity for networking, sharing ideas, inspire new ideas and reinvigorate the passion for this subject.
The conference is being held at New Plymouth Boys' High School from Tuesday 12th through to Thursday 14th October 2021.

Conference Dinner - The Devon Hotel - Wednesday 13th October 2021
This year, the conference dinner will be optional. This is where we announce and present the NZAMT Jim Campbell awards for Teaching Excellence. Pre-dinner drinks start at 6.00pm with the sit-down dinner starting at 7.00pm. A local band "The Slacks" will play from approximately 8.30pm until late. The cost for this will be $75.00 Per Person (additional), you are more than welcome to bring your partner.
